On time, prepared
You'll know when I'm coming and I'll be there, equipped for the job in hand — not heading off for a part halfway through.
The story
Chimney Green is a one-man-standard business in the truest sense: every job carried out, checked and signed off by the person whose name is on the van. Here's who that is, and why it matters.
Darren · Founder, ex-Forces
Meet Darren
After years serving in the army, I came home wanting work that kept the same code I'd lived by: turn up, do it right, take pride in it, and stand behind it.
Sweeping chimneys and looking after gardens might seem a world away from service life. It isn't. Both are about discipline, attention to detail, and earning trust by doing exactly what you said you would — every single time. People let me into their homes and onto their land. I don't take that lightly.
So I trained, registered with the National Association of Chimney Sweeps, insured the work properly, and became a registered waste carrier so nothing I remove is ever dealt with the wrong way. Then I built Chimney Green around one simple promise: whatever the job, it's finished to the highest standard, or it isn't finished.
“In service, a job half-done could cost someone everything. That stays with you. I bring the same seriousness to a swept flue and a cleared garden — because your safety and your home deserve nothing less.”
Darren · Founder, Chimney Green
One team, two trades
No subcontractors, no rotating faces. The person who sweeps your chimney is the person who clears your grounds — and the person who stands behind both.
What it means for you
Four things you can count on, every time we visit.
You'll know when I'm coming and I'll be there, equipped for the job in hand — not heading off for a part halfway through.
Dust sheets, sealed vacuums and a full clear-down. Your home or garden is left better than I found it — no trace of the work but the result.
Certificates, footage and honest advice in writing. You're never left guessing what was done or what comes next.
If something isn't right, I put it right. My name's on the work — that's the only guarantee that's ever mattered.
